Couple wants to add size to well located home as family grows.
Client hires architect who has difficulty obtaining approvals, before coming to Legacy Builders.
Legacy Builders recommends local architect and succussfully obtains building permit and begins construction. During building process Legacy suggests expanding rear yard by adding retaining wall, relocating moment frame, increasing front decks to improve the design and functionalty of the home while saving money. Legacy takes many of clients dreams and designs and implements them.
The first phase is to double the orginal huse size by building a 17-foot high retaining wall.
The new house is covered in horizontal cedar with a 1/4" shadow line.
The original house is preserved to avoid "demolition" and structurally rebuilt to accommodate custom stucco.
Legacy installs standoff glass entry rails to showcase pivot entry door and matched the siding on the (dusty) garage door.
Legacy helped create three level spiral staircase...
...to provide access to the green roof deck...
...with all glass railings.
